The Massive South-OVC has formally announced their 2024 convention soccer schedule. Convention play begins on Saturday, Sept. 7 with UT Martin at Southeast Missouri.
For the second consecutive season, the Massive South Convention and the Ohio Valley Convention (OVC) will compete below a partnership of their football-playing members, dubbed the Massive-South-OVC Soccer Affiliation.
The Bryant Bulldogs and Robert Morris Colonials every depart the convention this summer season, whereas the Western Illinois Leathernecks will be part of the league. Western Illinois will be part of returning Massive South-OVC members Charleston Southern, Japanese Illinois, Gardner-Webb, Lindenwood, Southeast Missouri, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, and UT Martin.
Every Massive South-OVC workforce will play an eight-game convention schedule which can decide the Massive South-OVC’s automated qualifier for the FCS Playoffs.
Two beforehand unannounced non-conference matchups have been additionally revealed as we speak via Massive South-OVC faculty releases and are listed under:
- McKendree at Western Illinois (Sept. 28)
- Tennessee Tech at Samford (Nov. 9)
Seven of the 9 Massive South-OVC faculties seem to have all 4 of their non-conference video games lined up for 2024, apart from Gardner-Webb who nonetheless has two openings and Southeast Missouri one.
