The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks have added the Lincoln (CA) Oaklanders to their 2024 soccer schedule, FBSchedules.com has realized.
Northern Arizona will host Lincoln (CA) on the Walkup Skydome in Flagstaff, Ariz., on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024. Northern Arizona pays Lincoln a $55,000 assure for the competition, based on a replica of the contract obtained from Northern Arizona College through a state public data request.
The sport will mark the first-ever assembly between the 2 faculties on the gridiron.
Lincoln College, positioned in Oakland, Calif., began their soccer program in 2021 and are reportedly aiming for NCAA Division II classification. Thus far, Lincoln has performed each sport on the highway.
With the addition of Lincoln, Northern Arizona has tentatively accomplished its schedule for the 2024 season. Following the competition towards Lincoln, which would be the season-opener, the Lumberjacks will play consecutive highway video games towards the Arizona Wildcats on Sept. 7, Utah Tech Trailblazers on Sept. 14, and UIW Cardinals on Sept. 21.
