The 2023 FCS Playoffs proceed this weekend with two semifinal video games on the schedule. One contest is slated for Friday with the second on Saturday.
Semifinal spherical motion kicks off on Friday, December 15 at 7:00pm ET with the top-seed South Dakota State Jackrabbits internet hosting the fifth-seed UAlbany Nice Danes at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings, S.D. The sport can be televised nationally by ESPN2 and streamed through ESPN+.
The UAlbany-South Dakota State recreation will mark the first-ever assembly between the 2 colleges on the gridiron.
South Dakota State comes into the sport undefeated at 13-0 total. The Jackrabbits dispatched the Mercer Bears within the second spherical of the FCS Playoffs, 41-0, after which defeated the eighth-seed Villanova Wildcats final week within the quarterfinals, 23-12, each at house.
UAlbany heads into the matchup with an 11-3 total file. The Nice Danes defeated the Richmond Spiders at house within the second spherical, 41-13, and the fourth-seed Idaho Vandals on the street within the quarterfinals, 30-22.
The second semifinal spherical recreation is ready for Saturday, Dec. 16 and options the second-seed Montana Grizzlies internet hosting the North Dakota State Bison at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula, Mont. The sport is scheduled for 4:30pm ET and it will likely be televised by ESPN2 and streamed through ESPN+.
Montana and North Dakota State have met 9 occasions total on the gridiron, most lately within the second spherical of the 2022 FCS Playoffs. The Bison defeated the Grizzlies in that contest, 49-26 in Fargo, N.D., and now lead the collection 5-4.

Winners of the semifinal video games will play within the Division I Soccer Championship Sport on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The sport can be televised by ABC at 2:00pm ET/1:00pm CT.
